LOS ANGELES MISSION Pastor Rick has had a heart to reach Los Angeles for many years for outreach, evangelism and assisting area churches. He is currently making contact with pastors from LA area Calvary Chapels to assess where the greatest needs for ministry is. We are also collecting hiegine items such as toothbrushes, combs, brushes, wet wipes, etc. To give out to those on the street, you can bring them by the church office during the week. SRI LANKA MISSSION God has opened doors for Calvary Chapel The Brook to do missions work on the Island of Sri Lanka. In conjunction with Gospel for Asia and Calvary Chapel Perris Valley, Pastor Rick went to Sri Lanka in Mark-April of 2011 to train Pastors and lay leaders in Inductive Bible Study and on teaching the Bible inductively. They visited Pastors and believers in the economic Capital City of Colombo, where he stayed at the GFA headquarters and did some training at The Believers Bible College. Then was able to visit the war torn area of Jaffna for more training. Plans are to go back for More pastors and lay leader training in August of 2011 or February 2012.
